The White House has decided to meddle in the affairs of the news media. For 111 years, the WHCA – White House Correspondents’ Association – has determined who and when the news media has access to the president. This meddling goes against the principles of the Freedom of the Press clause of the First Amendment.

Now this funding freeze is withholding the money, in violation of their contracts. It looks like they should be hiring lawyers to take the US government to court and sue for the money
