2026-07-15 The TA7642 (AKA ZN414) is a crippled IC. Because it has only 3 leads it can’t act like a normal IC that has an input, output, power and ground. The output has to come out of the power supply pin. It’s limited to only 2 or so volts. As a result this IC can’t
