Most of those saved were from measles. It’s a horrible fact that so many people have been scared away from vaccinations by the fear, uncertainty and doubt caused by the antivaxxers. These horrible people believe they are saving a few people, but in the end they are killing many more. Shame on them, they have blood on their hands that will never be washed away!

The Tesla businesses are diverse, and compete one against the other. The EV manufacturing business will be restricted by the robotaxi business since fewer EVs will be needed to transport the same number of people. This is disruptive and it’s difficult to tell how much disruption there will be.
Similarly, the V2G (vehicle to grid) system will make fewer Megapacks necessary to do “peak shaving”, so these two businesses will compete for the same electric power.
He says that the utilities business is ten times bigger than auto, but with the above in mind it will be difficult to predict how that will affect V2G and Megapack sales.
Yes, that’s being brought up in the media. My opinion is that those congressmen who vote to not convict Trump after the trial should have to answer for their malfeasance.
So most congressmen will stay aligned with the president who led the attempted coup d’etat, and Congress will not be able to convict him. For the second time, impeachment will fail.
Update Feb 02 – A friend mentioned “the timidity of the Democrats” apparently referring to the unwillingness of the Democrats to fight back with the same offensive tactics the Republicans use. I think one reason is that the Democrats have found the Republicans’ tactics so offensive that they just avoid stooping to such a low level to make a point. That’s essentially what Trump has done: fabricate so much misinformation that it’s a blizzard of ‘alternate truths’ and the Republicans just follow along on Trump’s footsteps.
Or perhaps the Democrats are so busy trying to separate Trump’s and the Republicans’ truth from the lies that they haven’t spent enough time going on the offensive. A lot of the vocal critics of the Democrats accuse them of being overly sympathetic to liberal or leftist dogma. But I think most of the Democrats are moderate and don’t adhere to the dogma they’re accused of believing. In the long run the right wing radicals believe anything that isn’t within their narrow viewpoint are liberal, leftist lies. So they are constantly having to reinforce their own dogma. Much of this is to demonize the opponents. The part that most Democrats believe is not morally right is to push back when an opponent makes of all sorts of false accusations about you. The Democrat foes on the defensive to counteract what he has been accused of doing. If a Republican is accused, he goes on the offensive and attacks the opponent. Perhaps the Democrats should go on the offensive?
This is an insight into what went on in the White House, witnessed by Vice President Pence’s advisor, Ms. Olivia Troye. They were supposed to have a meeting on the weekend about something important for this country. Instead of sticking to the agenda, Trump spent time complaining about the way the Fox News host was talking about him. V.P. Pence was too wimpish to assert himself and ask Trump to get to the agenda.

This was a shameful example of how Trump ran the Executive Branch.
I got a lot of information from this lecture. The Avian flu was harmless to waterfowl, but when humans started raising chickens in <factory farms> where the chickens are confined too close to one another, the flu virus spread to infect their lungs. The confined chickens allow the virus to spread rapidly through the flock, giving the virus a massive opportunity to mutate. Then through mammals (pigs), the flu infected humans. The reason why mankind has more diseases is because of factory farming — chickens, swine, livestock.

The Republicans want to restrict the rights of voters to make it more difficult for people of color to vote. More attempts to skew elections in their favor.
The EPA under Trump was unbelievably evil, trying to undo the regulations that protect us. They have been caught again, doing an illegal cancellation of previous regulations. Shame on Trump! :-()
