This claims that up until these panels were installed the crops couldn’t live under solar panels. But I don’t believe that. If the solar panels are 2 or 3 meters above the ground, plenty of sunlight gets through to grow the crops. Perovskites are not a breakthrough, but making thin, flexible multilayer sheets flexible enough to coat surfaces is innovative. The main issue with Perovskites is they are not as long-lasting as silicon; they lose capacity in a shorter time.
