Last first. The amount of minerals extracted from the ground is 150 times greater for gas guzzlers than it is for EVs. Every time you fill up at the gas pump you’re putting death causing minerals into your gas tank. And it’s costing you at least twice as much as charging an EV. This is the ultimate in hypocrisy!!
There is no worry about charging if you can plug your EV in at home.
The new LFP and LMFP EV batteries don’t explode. And you’re dozens of times more likely to have a gas car fire than an EV fire.
The article was written by a bigot and shill for the big oil industry. The worst thing we could do is keep burning fossil fuel and killing millions of people. ☹️

Another article from these liars and hypocrites goes on and on about how much land solar and wind turbines take up. They *never* mention that offshore wind takes up *zero* land! And they are totally silent about solar farms called agrivoltaics which have crops under the solar panels. Or the solar panels that are built over lakes called floatovoltaics. Neither of these take the land away from being used for its existing purpose. Plus farmers get to make a steady income from their farms.
And the really big piss-off is they fail to tell you that there will be hundreds of Gigawatts of rooftop solar that will also take away no existing land. Rooftop solar will let us charge EVs at even cheaper rates. And battery storage will save the consumers hundreds of billions of dollars.
