This scenario is hard to grasp and understand: the plans Trump had to overthrow the 2020 presidential election, if they had succeeded, would have caused nationwide protests for ignoring the will of the people, and resulted in another massacre much, much worse than the Kent State Massacre of 1970. It would have been a coup d’etat, an overthrow of the government. Riots would have been quelled by the same military force that was misused at Kent State. It would have been a bloodbath.
