This system uses a heater and cooler that is fixed with transfer into moving fluids. I wonder if they have tried changing it to a system where the heater and cooler is like a regular refrigerator where the heater and cooler moves around with the transfer into fixed locations. So the magnetothermal metal would move. Possibly the metal might be suspended in a fluid and it would flow through the hot and cold locations.
Also we already have refrigerators that operate using the Peltier junctions with no moving parts. But they apparently are not as efficient as a regular refrigerator.
