These autonomous laser devices can be working in the fields around the clock. They could severely reduce the need for herbicides (weed killer chemicals), and insecticides which are also harmful to good insects and other animals and pollute the environment. It’s highly unlikely that a weed will become resistant to a Laser! They can be electric vehicles and have a solar array that powers them for free, without fossil fuels.
US humans are developing AI – Artificial Intelligence – that could learn to distinguish between good and bad insects. The machines’ AI could allow them to be like our immune system that learns when our body is invaded by a foreign disease, and then teaches our immune system to kill the invaders. The reduction in the use of insecticides would help make the bees healthier.
