If the state is violating the constitutional amendments, then this will have to be taken to the federal courts and since states have deep pockets it will most likely be appealed and end up in the SCOTUS. It’s just a matter of time. Also banning Tesla direct sales is causing more greenhouse gases to be emitted. In the meantime the purchase out of state will have to meet the demand for Teslas.
GM and Ford know they can’t build EVs and compete with Tesla. Tesla outsells them fifty to one (just a guess). Toyota made a smart move. The RAV4 EV has a power train from Tesla. Toyota sells them and makes money, so why don’t the domestic automakers do something similar so they can compete with Tesla? They’re going to lose, eventually and Tesla will eat their lunch.
