This is a obscenely huge amount of battery cells. This is why the world needs to develop other ways to store and release energy on demand. Today 95% of the long-term energy storage is pumped hydro storage, so it will continue to play a large part in the future. The other form of energy storage is hydrogen because it may take the place of natural gas in many applications, especially in transportation.
