However it says, “… Heat pumps join electric vehicles and induction stoves in increasing demand on the grid.” I don’t agree. The heat pumps should reduce the amount of electricity that homes use. And the addition of rooftop solar plus battery storage to charge EVs and power inductive stovetops should reduce the demand on the grid.
