Some Pro’s and Con’s:

It’s an ICE So it can be used to replace existing ICE engines. Both in existing equipment and vehicles and also in equipment and vehicles being manufactured, with very little modifications.

Burns hydrogen that is mixed with air, So a small amount of nitrogen oxide is created during combustion, which is a component of smog and a greenhouse gas and must be eliminated eventually.

It’s an ICE – internal combustion engine, so it’s much more complex than a simple electric motor. But there are so many internal combustion engines being currently manufactured that it’s very simple to change to a hydrogen engine, especially a diesel hydrogen engine – there’s no ignition or spark plugs.

The best way to go would be to make green hydrogen and immediately produce green hydrocarbons from it. Make hydrogen into synthetic diesel fuel or gasoline, or even methane or propane. Doing this eliminates burning fossil fuels and the best part is it uses existing fossil fuels infrastructure, including existing ICEs. The big problem with this is a source of carbon must be found, and it must *not* be extracted from the earth. The carbon *must* be removed from the atmosphere.
