If the capacitor is in parallel with a low value resistor it may be a bypass capacitor for the emitter resistor of the audio driver stage. If it’s dried out, the audio will lose volume but still be weak.
If it’s in parallel with the plus and minus power, if it dries out it can cause the radio to ‘motorboat’ or sometimes other weird sounds.
Nowadays you can buy a 4.7, 10 or 22 uF 10VDC MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) that’s about 2 by 4 mm, surface mount that can be soldered across the original capacitor on the copper side of the PCB. They will never dry out — they’re already dry! 😂😂
