I’m messing around with some cheap macro lens adapters for my Nikon DSLR. The pic is the hard drive head from a 20 GB Maxtor HDD. I don’t see any dividing line between the two ‘poles’ of the magnet or whatever it is in the head. I know that the heads use magnetoresistive technology but
