The California PUC has halted NEM3.0, which would have reduced the amount per kWh that customers with solar get when they sell their power back to the grid. NEM3.0 would discourage future solar customers from getting solar. The utilities are claiming that the money that is saved by solar customers is costing the non-solar customers more.
