A 40 minute YouTube video that talks about what Tesla and Elon Musk is planning. Also (skip ahead to the 30 minute point) they talk about the financial aspects of Tesla and that Tesla will be on the S & P 500.
The important point they make is about the V2G (vehicle to grid) and the VPP (virtual power plant) capabilities. These solve the intermittency problem that has been preventing the renewables from replacing the fossil fuel plants. With Tesla’s system the electric vehicles store the daylight solar power for use after sunset, or wind turbine power for use when there is no wind.
This video was made before the Tesla stock split 5 for 1. I heard on the news that TSLA was splitting 5 for 1, but I looked today and it didn’t show up in the stock graph – it’s still at over $1600.00.
