2020-09-05 Ammonia To Hydrogen For Fuel

This 2017 article is on a website dedicated to ammonia as a the mechanism for transporting hydrogen to be used as fuel. There is a large amount of hydrogen made into ammonia for fertilizer, so it’s an established industry. But this uses methane AKA natural gas as the source for the hydrogen, so it is “gray hydrogen” that creates CO2. This must be changed to hydrogen that does not create CO2, and the resulting ammonia will also be GHG free.

This 2018 article is about the Australians demonstrating an ammonia to hydrogen converter.

This Japanese system needs no expensive material for the catalyst.
