I do know other “vegans” who consume fake meats and processed vegan foods who also seem to be hurt by “healthy” foods. All folks would do far better with a balance of vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and a few nuts. Far from being “nuts”, the whole food, plant based (WFPB) community not only saves the planet, they are the most fit and healthy people I know. Substituting fat, salt, sugar, oil, flavor enhancers, “natural” flavors, and imitation vegan foods will injure those who choose to consume those highly promoted food-like substances. Let’s save the planet while looking after our own bodies. Fake meats is not the answer. Eating lentil based sloppy joes might be part of the answer.
