Said, “…time will tell. I doubt anything happens here in the next 100 years…”
I saw that in Canada, in a national park, the pine trees are dying. The bark beetles burrow in and eat the living tissues. Normally in the past it got down to minus 40 degrees for several days and that was cold enough to kill the beetles. But climate change is causing the winter temperatures to not get quite as cold and the beetles survive. They showed the forest full of brown trees. They said half of the trees are dying or dead. The next lightning from a thunderstorm that starts a fire will create a huge wildfire.
I look at it this way. If I’m wrong and the climate change is not real, the countries will have spent a lot of money for possibly nothing. But if we fail to act now to reverse climate change, then when we find that it gets really bad, there will be no second chance to apologize and say we had better get busy and stop climate change. Once it gets bad enough to make everyone believe, it’s far too late. Most likely those with beachfront property, like in Miami will find their property partially underwater. But the biggest losers will be the poorest countries where the people will become climate refugees. This climate change in central America is causing the refugees to come north and become illegals here. But it’s going to get far worse. It’s going to cause droughts that will make irrigating farmland difficult if not impossible. The livestock that eat a lot of food and water will have to be sacrificed to save the food for humans.
My sister was a born again Christian and I lost her to cancer a week ago. She and I grew up in a Christian family, but she got involved with the crowd that did drugs. I hesitate to call myself a Christian anymore because I saw what a lot of two faced Christians were like. I’ve had cancer, too so I figure I don’t have that much longer on this Earth. But while I do, I want to make sure the future generations have an Earth that’s not unlivable. Others also have the best interests of the Earth in mind. The best scientists we have say that the climate is changing, and they show many other examples to prove it.
In the next decade the world will be making major changes in the way we live. Everyone will have to make some sacrifices, in order to keep the Earth halfway livable. There is no other choice.

I have read the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, took me a year and a half. That’s more than you can say.
Climate change doesn’t have to be human caused. But the climate is changing rapidly. You can believe what you want. But you’ll be left to your foolishness while the younger generations have to put up with the damage that’s already being caused by climate change. I won’t be around to have any regrets. I’ll be another viet nam era veteran buried in the national cemetery while you and other foolish people argue over who gets the life preservers as the ship is sinking.
Bon voyage, sucker!
