That’s absurd. The used solar panels with “only 80%” are being resold to developing countries where farmers buy them to run the pumps to pump well water for their crops. Anyone can afford the solar panels. Only the wealthy can afford the nuclear power – which is owned by the governments of developing countries which are often corrupt. Only a shill for the big nuclear power industry would say such nonsense.
Until nuclear power can end the billion dollar cost overruns and the decades of construction delays, utilities are not going to choose new nuclear and instead choose renewables plus storage where in two years they can have a wind or solar power plant online.
