I don’t *have* any of those appliances; they’re all natural gas.
My coworker asked me to fix her electric dryer that she had just had installed. She said the dryer ran but didn’t get hot. I checked the line voltage and the outlet had 120 VAC from the two lines to neutral, but had zero VAC from line to line. I informed her that the electrician had wired up the outlet incorrectly. A competent electrician would have checked for that and it should never have “slipped through the cracks.”
