I’m not sure if this is sensationalism or if there really are leaders in GOP-led states who are making these claims. In 1973 the Supreme Court struck down state anti-abortion laws. Now the states are claiming that the federal government is overstepping its authority. It looks to me that the federal government is preventing the states from overstepping their authority when they make anti-abortion laws. And the states should be the ones kept reined in.
