Almost every BESS – battery energy storage system – that I read about has a maximum storage of 4 hours. This Tumbleweed Project is a BESS but has 8 hours. I don’t see why the other BESSes are not capable of running at lower power for more than 8 hours. I have this suspicion that

Article gives Wh/kg for new LFP and cobalt free batteries. The recent excessive high price of nickel is causing the industry to reduce or avoid it. Also eliminating cobalt.
