Apparently the disasters like storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and transformer failures are eating up all the supplies of distrbution transformers and manufacturers can’t keep up with the demand. Very good video about the chip shortage. There were fires in several plants, natural disasters like the earthquake in Fukushima, and too much dependence on only a few factories. We need to prevent this from happening again.
