i have the original article from electronics australia in pdf. If you email me i can send you a copy. The original does use a p channel jfet. It also has different gain set up as i believe the transistors of the time were germanium. Therefore required a higher gain setup. I built this unit but found the turnover control to be rather useless. But i do now query if it was a jfet required and the original article from 1968 was wrong. Not sure. Happy for it to be posted on this blog i’d like to here what people have to say about it. Cheers
