{"id":7986,"date":"2013-07-09T17:44:43","date_gmt":"2013-07-10T00:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/?p=7986"},"modified":"2013-08-25T23:21:22","modified_gmt":"2013-08-26T06:21:22","slug":"2013-07-09","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/?p=7986","title":{"rendered":"2013-07-09 FBI Says Fingerprints Are Infallible, No 2 Are Alike"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/EstherGlaser-S3492.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-8412\" alt=\"EstherGlaser-S3492\" src=\"http:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/EstherGlaser-S3492-300x250.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/EstherGlaser-S3492-300x250.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rustybolt.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/EstherGlaser-S3492.jpg 665w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>I recently watched the Frontline episode on PBS that dealt with criminal prosecutions based on fingerprints, bite marks and other evidence.\u00a0 The FBI claimed that the fingerprint system is infallible and that no two fingerprints are the same.\u00a0 The FBI arrested a guy in the U.S. for a crime that happened in Europe, on the basis that his fingerprints matched a single partial print found on the crime scene.\u00a0 It later turned out that the fingerprint was that of a terrorist, not the guy in the U.S., which proved that the FBI&#8217;s claim that fingerprints are infallible is not true.<\/p>\n<p>This brought to mind my neighbor, Esther Glaser.\u00a0 Esther was born at about Thanksgiving in 1912, so she was about 91 when this picture was taken.\u00a0 She passed away after her 99th birthday.\u00a0 She told me about her experience with the FBI a long time ago, probably during WW 2, when her husband&#8217;s business did contract work with the U.S. Government.\u00a0 They had to be fingerprinted, and later the FBI agents came to ask her why she had smudged her fingerprints.\u00a0 She showed\u00a0 them her fingers.\u00a0 There were no fingerprints!\u00a0 Yes, I looked at her fingers, and saw that she did not have any fingerprints &#8211; her fingers were as smooth as a baby&#8217;s butt.\u00a0 I said, &#8220;Esther, you would have made a great burglar.&#8221;\u00a0 She smiled and said &#8220;I know!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The FBI has known about her case for many decades.\u00a0 So if their fingerprint system is infallible and that no two fingerprints are the same, how do they explain her case?\u00a0 How many other people in the world or the U.S. have no fingerprints?\u00a0 I have personally witnessed at least one myself &#8211;
