Did you notice that there are only two conductors going to the pylon in the background? That means this is a DC powerline. And there are six conductors in each bundle. That’s extremely high current, over 5000 amps. But the really amazing thing you can see is there are ten insulator bells between each red bell. There are 9 groups of ten insulators so a total of 90 insulators!!! And each end where the conductors connect to the insulators has the big corona suppression rings, indicating there is extremely high voltage.
So all this must mean that this is a plus and minus 800 kilovolt DC line that’s in China. I did a search and came up with this.
