The White House has decided to meddle in the affairs of the news media.\u00a0 For 111 years, the WHCA – White House Correspondents’ Association – has determined who and when the news media has access to the president.\u00a0 This meddling goes against the principles of the Freedom of the Press clause of the First Amendment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The White House is attempting to use this as a way to prevent certain journalists from having access to the president. Those journalists are the ones who ask the difficult questions, to get to the bottom of whether or not the president is telling the truth and how the president’s decisions are affecting the country.
