My thinking is that the streetlights should be fitted with motion detectors that go on for maybe ten seconds when a vehicle approaches. During late night \/ early morning the traffic is so low that there will be very little LED light to attract insects. The LED lights can be dimmed to 1\/4 or less brightness so they attract insects less but the dimming saves electricity.<\/p>\n
