We went out to Hennessey’s in downtown San Juan Capistrano, and I talked to a guy who is waiting on a list for a kidney. In the meantime he goes to a dialysis center for treatment three times a week for four hours, brings his laptop and watches movies. It costs his insurance $7,400.00 per treatment. He said that in another country it would only cost $300.00. There is something wrong with our medical system where it’s almost impossible to pay for a recurring lifesaving procedure that’s absolutely mandatory. Seriously, your life is just a large amount of expense that some insurance company would like to avoid. Your life, or your money?
